Step back in time
We knew moving to the borders was a step back in time, but not that far back! We joined in with the Christmas celebrations called ‘Scotts Selkirk’ last weekend where everyone dresses up in early 18th century costume (the time of Sir Walter Scott who was sheriff of Selkirk). Braving the cold, wind and rain (with the help of a few hot toddies and wee drams), a fine weekend was had by all with lots of music, dance and street theatre abound.
